First of all welcome to the site and I think you will actually find out that you have found one of the best sites for Beaumont info. When you check through this site you will find an area specifically for Beaumonts. If you look in general Beaumont discussion you can find info on paint chips I think it's on page 8. If you scroll through those pages there is a ton of info and if you don't find it just ask. There is a ton of wisdom out there and I get educated a little every week. Never too old to learn they say.

Welcome to the site, your paint code is on your cowl tag, see below pic of cowl tag from one of our posts. To the left of paint is  code.  Take a pic of your cowl tag or post info from yours and we will give you info needed.   This is the best Beaumont and Pontiac site going.

Look for it on the drivers side engine compartment top of firewall or cowl.  The interior or trim code is also on this tag. That code will tell you if bench or bucket car and colour of interior.   Looking forward to pics.

Wow! You have one rare Beaumont there! I wonder how many 4 speed post cars were built? It's certainly worth putting her back to original. Congrats on your find! For a fee, GM Vintage Vehicle Services can provide you with a build sheet for your car (includes options, selling dealer, build date etc). You'll never have a problem finding a buyer for this one if you ever decide to sell. Lot's of guys on here have been looking a long time for a solid Beaumont post!

Thats right 307 or 327 no 350 until 69.    327  4 speed is a good combo. Do you plan on leaving it that way ?  I would .

Good looking car and welcome to the site.
Not that there is anything wrong with Verdoro Green but unless you have some sentimental attachment go ahead and paint the car any colour you want. You don't plan on selling it (which won't hurt the price) anyways and you will have to live with it for a while so it might as well be something you like.
As far as the engine. If there is no engine option code on the cowl tag it would have been a 307.

Contact GM of Canada with your VIN to get info on how it came from the factory. Or have they stopped doing this??

Hi all.I need some of your expert very much appreciated help. Are there some pics of a 68 beaumont interior pics on this site some where or where could i find some.I want to get an idea of what it used to look like so i can get to work.Im taking it to a mechanic friend who is going to make sure its mechanically sound and then it goes for a paint job.Another friend said items like dash pads floor carpets door panels are the same as chevelles. Also in the instument panel there are three big guages.First fuel guage and lights second speedo and is the third most likely a tach. The previous owner just shoved a sun tach in there and it fell out and snapped the wires so i unhooked it and left it out.Does anyone know if it is a tach where i could find one. Thanks for all the knowledge guys and gals.Great bunch you are. I will keep you informed of the progress. Randy
