BBC Choke Tube

Does anyone have a spare choke tube for a BBC? The pipe that attaches to the carb on mine busted. Part of my ongoing saga...
Thanks
Todd

i'm not sure what tube you're referring to.  My 454 doesn't have a tube associated with the choke.

Do you mean the pipe to the air cleaner? Or does it go from the intake to the carb to heat the choke thermostat? Picture maybe?

You got it Carl. Theres a hole in the intake where this long curled pipe goes into and gets heated by the exhaust. The pipe then comes out and attaches to the choke thermostat on the carb.

It came with a block off plate in case I decide to go without. I kind of like having the choke and high idle that I've been spoiled with on my 350 and Edelbrock carb.

Hmm, some kind of picture would be great. For some reason I am having difficulty picturing any of the big blocks that used a tube like that. I am used to them having a choke "coil" sitting in the intake with a rod running up that attaches to the choke plate.

I'll take a photo tonight. Here's a photo of one from a 350 that I found online. Same type of deal:

Boy, still makes me go hmmmm....

Do you happen to have the carb number? It should be on the drivers side of the carb and it will be stamped on there vertically most likely.
