This car was converted form 6 auto to 350 V8 4 speed. Looks well done. Nice color combo. This car is in the original owner's family. was advertised a few months back.

Nice ! There's one for sale here too, all one need is to find a Pontiac 421 for it.

No, that is the very rare numbers matching optional Bungie Cord holding on Foam Wrap Air Cleaner, it adds $8,000 to the price of the car hence the $15,000 asking price. biggrin

that car made me want a pontiac as a kid!!

20 years ago (maybe it still does) it had a great exhaust system, it

sounded like thrush mufflers/royal scots or the like, when he'd let

off it make the coolest crackling noise i ever heard. way cool!!

I'm surprised this isn't sold - $15K may be a little steep but it seems like a good car and I would have expected the seller could get close to his ask for this one.

There are so many reasonably priced cars out there these days I can hardly believe it. It seems like the supply greatly exceeds demand at this point.

I did the change-over to a V8 for the owner ( Bob ) back in 1987 I think. I put 409 wagon HD front springs, replaced most of the front seat with NOS Pontiac material, installed the four gear and cleaned off a 3 speed column, had the bumpers chromed, and installed a rear deck antenna for a 62 Impala. I used stock exhaust manifolds, pipes, and tailpipes with Walker blue's ( Continentals ) glasspacs. he kept coming back to get the driver side muffer changed about once a year because all the fiberglass would be blown out of it. Yes, it was loud at times. I still have at least three of the mufflers that I removed from that car and they were louder than Thrush mufflers as I recall. Wayne Chapman ( Bias Bob )
