Early BBC valve covers

Looking for a good set of stock late 60's BBC valve covers.
PM me if you have a set you'd be willing to sell with price and shipping to N5C 1S8

Thanks
 Todd

I think the kind you want are like these:

eBay item # 110429930573

!BZdvHv!BGk~$(KGrHgoOKiMEjlLmVzhzBKm0gGRiD!~~_12.JPG

Notice the welded-on brackets, a tall one at the rear for all 4 plug wires and a short one in the middle for the forward 2 plug wires (good luck fiinding the plastic holders that attach to the brackets and hold the plug wires).

I know these were used in 66 and 67, not sure about later years, I know some later ones (mid 70's? or even later trucks?) did not have those brackets.

Also note the pictured example is for power brake cars, there is an angled relief on the rear of one valve cover (the one without the fill cap).

If you do an eBay search on "BBC valve covers" there are a lot you don't want but you can find new ones like these pretty cheap:

Note correct holes and brackets, NO power brake relief on this set.

And, if memory serves, the only cars to get the power brake booster relief covers were the 1965-396 Corvette and the 1966 and 1967-427 Corvettes.

My 67 had the relief cut when I got it. I tried to put on a set without and they would not fit around the brake booster.
I don't know what factory correct would be.

Here's the original driver's side cover on my '67 Corvette with power brakes. The booster was not installed at this stage.

As can be seen, it has a very prominent relief.

I was unaware of a different kind with relief for B-bodies.
