Both nice boats. Those Lincolns are so smooth..., but nasty on fuel. The 460 with Autolite carb was the thirstiest car I ever had.

I have to admit to having a Town Car on a rental for two weeks once in Florida. It was a real nice ride, I loved it.

I had 2 Town Cars,a Mark3, Mark4,2 Conti's, Mark8. I remember the 77-79 Towns being described as "Russian Armored locomotives" It suits them.

I'm not 100% sure. It's the first time I saw it. It wasn't good enough to rent for weddings or proms in my opinion but it was solid, just lacked a good clean up. They have major late model stretch cars there for rental so I have a hunch its for sale. If it's original its worth $4000-6000 as a good quality driver. Rust is a concern, so if its original black paint, or a good respray , nice interior & running gear he's not far off. i found the Cadi's of the same era to be better on fuel, but not by much.

Earl, the Lincoln looked like original paint to me. It was a car that was well taken care of.
