Extra nice, iconic late 50's colour scheme is awesome.

Very nice - 58 Pontiac, especially 2 dr ht, is among the best looking late 50s cars made.

I have come to appreciate the '58's but they were a complete bomb in 1958, one model year only body style. GM reacted to the worst recession since the depression in 1958 and redesigned the cars for '59 owing to the outlandish opulence we see in the '59's, most notably the Cadillacs of 1959 along with the other fin masters of the GM line.

In my opinion the roofline and styling of the 58 Impala, Cadillac and Bonneville/Parisienne 2 dr ht made those cars the most appealing of all in 58.  I am not a fan of the big finned Mopars except maybe the Chrysler letter cars of 57-59, and the 59 Cadillac was over the top. But the 58s noted had the right balance.

Wow, that IS a beauty. It's hard not to appreciate the Pontiacs of the 50's and 60's. (Yes, and newer than that too...)

I guess that's why I am on this site!
