Except for all of us who have all streaming media blocked by our employers which I understand is quite common these days.  Have you found a way to get around this Bob?

Hillar,

Your IT department would still see the heavy traffic to your desktop, so it's best to leave it alone...........unless you want more time to work on your cars.

P.S. He starts every hour with an Elvis tune. Today's show started with King Creole from 1958. Great song.

Right now, he's spinning the one-hit wonder "Keep on Dancing" by The Gentries from 1965. You're not gonna hear this stuff on CHUM-FM, people.

wink

Having a vested interest in radio i had to jump in. I hope you don't mind a shameless plug on this thread.  My little station in Tillsonburg doesn't have signal reach up to Toronto. We're through to Kitchener and we start breaking up down by Chatham. We don't have a website so no streaming and i'm not sure if we're still on satellite or not. It's an easy listening station with a big range in music. We play some Beatles, i just had Paul McCartney and Wings tht i played. I got on today and in the first half hour had The Box Tops. I see the Troggs start next hour, no not Wild Thingwink.  Nevertheless an ecclectic selection with instrumentals thrown in.  So if you're driving that part of Ontario, the station is in Tillsonburg tune it in, some may like it, others it won't be your cup of tea.  For me outside work i'm a rock fan and my favourite station is over the border in Erie, PA.  Anyway we're 101.3 if you're ever passing through.  I'm on weekdays 2 to 7pm.  It always surprises me how many people in the area are listening to us.  Right now is sweeps so we're qualifying listeners to win a $2000 home theatre package!

I've seen Freddy and his entire 50s/60s rock n' roll band and backup singers perform live. They were fantastic.

I'm really impressed at how well he's doing on-air, and his choice of music is very interesting for a guy born in the early 1970s. smile
