Thanks Ray. I sent the link to a old friend, his family campaigned one in 70 with Ford Canada sponsorship. I had a 70 Torino 429 Cobra with the Ram Air. Very fast car and as I said in another post the only car I ever owned 3 times and one of the few I regret selling for the last time.

This car is ugly as can be. But strange with that engine it quadruples in price? It's not even the fastest engine that was available! And yet I still want it!

What colour is that other one? Is it for sale, details?

Anyone interested in buying a 1965 El Camino or a 1970 Mustang?

I'm not much of a Ford guy but have always liked the 70-1/2 Falcons since they're a Post car..

I mentioned them to a Mustang guy I know about 18 Mos. ago and he told me where there was a supposedly solid one in an Ontario boneyard...302 car I believe?.

If still there after last years scrap prices who knows but if somone wants a project, let me know and I'll try and find out more?.

I know of another one very local but with a 6. I was contemplating that one since he offered it to me at a very reasonable price.

I don't think it's that ugly - other than the color.  It's a 2 door post with a 429. What's not to like?
