Talk to 427Carl or rebelrouser from this site. They each have 1966 2 door posts to sell.
They are different state of completion but offer big block 4 speeds for your enjoyment.
They are both driveable if there is rubber left on the rear tires LOL.

biggrin You got a bit of a "neat" streak in you Dave???!!!

I used to be that way. Now with a wife and 2 kids I'm happy to even have time to walk past my car projects that sit waiting, never mind worry about detailing them!

Hi Todd,

early to mid sixties two door post (or even a station wagonsmile), preferably full size, v8, auto or manual don't care, and very close to original condition... car has to be in excellent shape since we have a pretty demanding technical inspection here in Switzerland...and it's periodic too!furious

The idea is to find a few cars to look at, fly to TO for a week (enjoy some Tim Horton'ssmile, see friends), see the cars and (hopefully) strike a deal,  put it in a container and ship it...
That's the idea in a perfect world...

Budget would be around 10k, but as usual it depends on the car...obviously a Poncho or Chevy, or even a GM relative...

That's it in a nutshell, if people want to send me PMs that's ok with me,

Thanks again for all your help, you're doing an amazing job with this forum,
Cheers

JD

And I'm thinking that it is going to be a major undertaking bringing a car from Maine to PEI.

Which demonstrates once again why you should never, ever buy a vehicle unless you or a trusted colleague have had an opportunity to personally inspect the vehicle.  The sad thing with the internet is that it has brought out the scammers to a degree never seen before, praying especially on long distance purchasers.  I just ran into someone the other day who had bought a vehicle sight unseen on the internet and was very disappointed with it's condition which wasn't at all as described.

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Unless some other truly magical deal shows up, personally I think you should consider rethinking Mike's '64 Laurentian even if you have to trailer it on your end..

Even if you have to flip Mike more dough to get it in running condition and/or make arrangements to get it to the container for you, when all's said and done the originality you'll end up will be more than worth it especially compared to possible surprises of other cars!.

Seriously, this car is priced right and adding up the other costs it may still fit your budget!?
