Have been looking for a half decent 66 Beau steering wheel, without any luck. Am I correct in assuming that the Chevelle steering wheel is the same thing other than the center cap? Also, any thoughts as to what a fair price would be to acquire a nice Chevelle steering wheel (while I watch for a Beau center cap)? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes you are corrent that a chevelle wheel will work. As for a price they will all vary as to condition. I got mine from a swapmeet for 40 bucks. Now the center cap will be a diffrent story. I personally dont think it matters the price if you need it unfortunatly you will have to pay high on that one

Try to find one from an AMERICAN built chevelle. the US ones are made of a softer black plastic that is painted. it will only have hairline cracks if any. it is easy to fill the hairline cracks and then paint your color.

Good find. I've been going on kijiji and ebay almost nightly for the past month. Good to know that they do show up from time to time. (Was able to secure a grille from Kijiji.)
