This car is brand new. White with blue stripes and a blue interior. Nothing has been in the trunk and it has only been sat in the drivers seat. Pretty odd eh? It's not mine but I guy here has one for sale. I have seen the car and it's mint.

Just a shot in the dark but high teens likely? In this market I would think you'd be pressed to sell one for over 20. It seems to take a pretty special 60's car to go over 20 these days.

Carl seems to be guessing fine but I'd say a buyer would need more to go on-4-speed ? auto ? T-Top ? other options ? orig tires ? all orig paint ? decals ? messed with at all ? owner history ? paperwork ?

It's a auto, non-T-Top, manual windows, original tires, original paint, original decals. The only thing is the car was rust proofed when brand new because it came from Ontario originally. It looks as new. The history is a father bought it off his son when he got into money problems and stored it. Moved to the West coast, drove it from Ontario, and traded it in in Victoria at a dealership. A friend of the owner now called him from the dealership and he bought it sight unseen. It's a total time piece. Did I mention he had a transistorised 64 409 Impala SS (loaded), 65 396 impala SS 4 spd, and a very loaded 64 El Camino( 4 spd, 327, air, power windows). Guess which one is super rare and worth a ton of money, and I mean a ton.

Auto would hurt the value on the car. If you can "steal" it you would do o.k, but unless you want a car like this, I'd pass because these cars do not have a big draw like the 60's cars do. Just alot of fun to drive. No clutch, I'd pass.

there was a super nice blue 79 with a 4-speed no tops local a few years back-the owner was sure it would be 12-15, he sold it 4 months later for 9500. I'd say its a great car to buy-costing way more to restore one but be careful with automatics. I see a lotta guys wanting 20 but Carl is right over 20 has to be a pretty special 60's car these days. a 70's/80's car needs to be well optioned plus in the condition you describe

Wow the Candian models have more flares or this yellow car is missing something. I have never seen a 79 Z-28 that didn't have the flares in front of the front wheels. This white Z-28 car only has 15000 km and puts this  yellow car to shame. Sounds like the owner is thinking under 20000.00 Canadian.

the yellow one is a 78-seem to be more desirable-he can think 20 all he wants

If that burgandy car was a 4spd with black interior it would be in my garage. My friend had a twin of it, I crashed it, and let's say it didn't make it.

I know a lot of guys trying to sell some nice cars for 35000.00, but there's no market for desirable cooky cutter cars that everybody has for that money.

they are a nice car-I think the availability of so many low dollar ones keeps the price/demand down on the high end or good ones.

If I could get it for 10G's I would buy it.

I would say 10G is a steal when you see what it buys you in a used car.

When we sold our very nice original paint 94 Impala SS with 115,000 km this summer, I said that car has to be worth a minimum of 10G. If I look around and see what close to 10 gets you in an every day driver type used family sedan, it only buys you a ho hum car with that same 115,000 km on it if it's a 3-5 year old Buick let's say. In another 5 years, the Buick is worth a grand or two at best, but the Impala is still likely going to be worth close to 5G. All depends how you look at that Camaro and what you want to do with it. As an investment, likely the money is better spent on a bit older classic, but who knows the future of the car market with absolute certainty?

First one on the list is a pretty good guess.

Is it the big horsepower?

I was going to say 50-70 if it is.

The nicest Impala that I have ever seen. He turned down 75G's

This is mine bought new back in the day, no flares either. Recall paying about $6,700 for it. My Cousin had a 80 4 speed and this 78 auto never lost a race to the 4 gear, ever. He was a GM mechanic for Roy Foss in Toronto, not saying he was an expert driver but no hack.
