#5 has some good stuff also. That's Tiny in a earlier life on his Triumph.
Then we have a 62 Parisienne convertible parked as well as a 62 Hardtop with no hi beams in behind Tiny. As well as lots of Chevy's.

In the frame showing the 62 Pontiac with no high beams, is that a ht or a sedan?

I know they weren't Pontiacs but it was nice to see that 69 GTX, the Chrysler 300 and the Fury. Also looks like a 63? Plymouth at the side of the drugstore.

It looks like a 2dr hdtp to me. It looks a little high on the front, maybe on his way out to the highway to blow the doors of a Ford.biggrin

Thanks for finding those neat photos, Fred.

If you look beyond the "62-in-a-yellow-box", you'll notice it's blocking our view of a parked car. That is the exact spot where I parked for the following photo, some 35 years later.

I moved to the area 3.5 years ago, and love it. There are still a large number of 50's, 60's, and 70's cars and trucks around.

Here's what Walton Street looks like these days. The drug store is the white building half way up on the right. The Chevy van is parked where I was for the other photo.

To the rear of the camera, at the bottom of the Walton Street hill, sits the Ganaraska River. Another reason why people visit Port Hope.

By the way, I blew the '62 up to 6 times original, but it's tough to see much detail.

There used to be a Satan's Choice clubhouse in Port Hope until Bill Matiyek was murdered.

Margles - I bought my '68 Cutlass convertible off of Saul Margles

The Queens - I drank a few in The Queens underage ... one night the ice backed up on The Ganaraska, and flooded The Queens. The cops came in and told us to evacuate and move our cars to higher ground : )

Thanks for the pictures. We usually stop by at the Chip truck just before the river on the way back from the cottage.
