Picture of my 65 taken in 1986

Looking through some stuff today and found this shot. It will be taken in the spring of 1986 I think. At this point it was likely still a 194 powerglide, 43,000 miles.

I wish I had a better shot of my friends black Nova visible on the left side. 65 2 door hardtop, 33,000 miles, tubbed race car, all original outer panels still.

Love the look of your car Carl. It was barely broken in.

Thanks Carl.

The more I see the Acadians, the more I think that I should have gone with the smaller body. I could have had two in the place of one B!

Ha, so true! This thing feels like it would fit in the trunk of the 66 Grande Parisienne I had!

It's funny how I've always had these little ones or B bodies. Not that I don't like Beaumonts, I love them but I've had 3 65 Acadians and 3 66-67 Novas. I guess I tend to go extreme, one way or the other!

When I look back at this shot from way back, I sure think "Granny car!"

I've considered Novas, Venturas,  Acadians & Firebirds; may make the shift someday. They sure would take up a lot less space.

They really are a ton of fun, but they are so, so different when you're used to B bodies.
