I had a 67 GP parts car, 2 door hardtop with C47. I still have the bezel for the switch that says "rear heat". Sadly, I trashed the rest of the option.

(you know how a light bulb heats up, right? well with those fully enclosed housings they radiated heat nicely, and none of the light escaped, so they would keep your cigarette warm, so it would not freeze to your lips, up there in the Frozen North, eh?)

The VOE option was for the 1970 GTO. Somehow it was offered without the top GM brass knowing about it. Apparently this commercial was shown during the Superbowl. Some of the GM big shots saw the ad and canned the option.
