A guy in brighton gave me the same quote. He vends at Barrie and Stirling. Said he would be using my stock radio and putting all new guts in. Since there is no AM radio broadcast in my area anymore, might be happening. On our last trip my wife thought she would bring her ipod, good idea but you still need FM.

Kenwood and others also make hidden decks with a small remote. You can put it under the seat, in the trunk or whatever. Great for using your car stereo in the shop, you can control it from across the room. between $250-$350 for good ones.

There are kits out there that directly contect your iPod to an amp, no deck interface required. Alls that left hangin is the cord for the iPod. Check out. Jlaudio.com
