There is a very very nice, did I happen to mention a very very nice, 1967 Pontiac 2+2 with a factory 6 cylinder on ebay #120524435360. Sweet car it belongs back here.
Hey thanks Clint, it is funny when I first saw say the auction. I swear, I could actually hear you saying that to me. (-: Sure is a neat car, just love that colour combo, even the six cylinder. Price ?????????????
Yep, its been around eBay a few times. Seem to remember it being in the Chicago area last year. This time out in California. Wonder if car actually sold previously and was moved or is this a "marketer" doing the selling. Seems to me buy it now price has jumped by 2 grand. But I do like the car. Even though the colour combination is a little different.

I do believe this car was part of my friend tony's collection in southern Illinois. I first saw the car in about 2002-3 on a trip through that area. Tony and his dad Neal had quite a collection 10 years ago. Among his more notable cars was the right hand drive 67 Acadian wagon that spent it's life in Montana or Wyoming as a postal vehicle. Neal also owned a 62 Acadian Convertible, pale yellow with a white top. All of these cars have been on eBay at least once or twice since they broke up their collection about 4-5 years ago. I recall the 2+2 being on eBay for the first time and Tony ran it several times before settling for (I think), something in the neighborhood of $7,000. I know the 62 Acadian Convertible came from the Vancouver Island area and they bought another car from there at the same time and transported both of them back to IL. Both of these guys are very nice individuals that attended Autofest in Oshawa on several occasions with a couple of their cars. The demise of their collection was prompted by medical situations because they were both self employed. I hope I haven't crossed any lines by posting this information. The only reason I did was to say these were documented cars, well cared for by true collectors and no one should shy away from purchasing them. Unfortunately some of their cars have passed through several hands either because of the desire to flip them for a buck or because the buyers were not true collectors as Tony and Neal were.
Yes its nice to see a different colour than black in a car for interior. The whole colour combo is so eye catching. That poor little six banger pulling all that weight around. The little engine that could.
You know we all tend to give the six a bad rap. We had a 65 4dr Laurentian sedan with a 230 - 6. That car was absolutely fine, even going to the cottage up the 400 and hwy 27 my dad could pass just about anything, it kicked down real easy and passed no problems at all. I supose it was a PG so it was great. It could do 120 with my old man pounding on it. Back in 65 no one even thought to buy a V8 where we lived.
I first posted about this car a couple of days ago. wanted to see what kind of response it recieved. Did not realize that it has been up for sale a time or two. But no matter on that, I just think it is a real sweet car. hard to believe I am saying this, but the 6 cyl is a drawing card for me (must be the over 60 year old thing?) lol, the colour combo speaks for its self. I was thinking around the 12k mark for the car?? Any thoughts on that kind of money??
I have to believe they want pretty close to the BIN of $19,900. I don't think $12,000 will buy it in this auction. Now we all know that it is hard to get $10,000 for a big block car so it is what it.....probably won't sell again.
A very interesting car. I love the exterior color, and the interior color, but not together. It's amazing though that you could get these special order combos back in those days.
