Here's a bird I've seen for sale before. Looks like a very nicely done resto.
Does anyone know this car?
With the newer 3 spd tranny, will the small OHC6 pull very well?

The onlu real thing to be wary of, is that if the engine has been rebuilt, that it was done by someone who is familiar with that ohc six. The overhead cam valvetrain has to be setup just right or it will either have noisy followers or eat the cam.

I had one of these back in the 70's. It was a convertible. Had the 250 Sprint pkg. 4 bbl Rochester and a 3 speed stick. It worked good, not fast but could keep up with most cars. It would beat most of the automatic cars out of the gate.

yeah, the Sprint is the better option for the OHC6. He's got a 4brl and split exhaust for it, brings it close to the Sprint, less the 10.5:1 compression

I had a 67 sprint  with the 3.8 and a glide, it would turn those L60 tires no problem. Was a good little engine.

I am pretty sure this is the same car forsale in Winnipeg kijiji for the same amount . I want to take a look at it for my girlfriend as a daily driver for the summer. I have a uneasy feeling about this car. Does anyone know any more about this firebird .
