but out west? im in vancouver. that car is partially central canada, and here i used to live in Wpg, that car would be scouped up by me right now

that's just a weekend drive , Vincent jr. isn't far from that one, and he needs to pick up his car in Kelowna.....hmmmmmmmm......a smell a scheme a brewing...

That would be..............................me!!! While not cast in stone yet, DaveJ is setting up a go between for us to pick up my '70 2+2 Rag in Kelowna, bring it here and then backtrack to 'Stoon for his '68 and head back to BC with it.

In any case it seems rather ironic that he is coming to Saskie for a car while I have to go to BC for a car!!!

But he will not be traveling through Regina, though.........

I just got one shipped out to Vancouver Island from Winnepeg and it only cost 2000.00 door to door....cheaper than taking a car trailer there and dragin it home.Bc Ferries are over $150.00 one way. Just got home from the big swap meet in Portland Oregon last weekend and for my truck 2 adults 3 teens it was $105.00 each way for the Stinkin Ferry. Only cost me $140.00 in fuel for 5 days to go there and back and cruz around...any way mutter muttter...it's not that expencive to have them shipped.

i live maybe 45 minutes away from pelly...i drive by there often enough....me and a buddy are goin old car searching in that area maybe this weekend i,ll probably stop and look at it if its still there....it.s out of my price range but if anybody isinterested in it let me know.....

That hood is screwed up pretty bad which means the hinge where rusted, and the hood structure is probably rusted. Rust there means lots of rust in that car.

I drove tractor trailer in Sk. for about 11 years and driving the little towns and villages I would be wondering what treasures are in those old barns and garages. I drove by Pelly a lot. I used to go North from Canora on #9, east on 49(?) into Manitoba with a primary load at night. I was paid by the km. on map and it saved alot of time rather than going thru Kamsack and Riding Mtn Nat"l Park. biggrin
