Manifolds & carb wanted for 63 nova 6 cyl

Have a friend looking for a intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and carb for his 63 Nova SS. I think it would be a 230 or 250 cubic inch 6 cyl., and  Rochester single carb? He lives here in Victoria so the closer the better I guess for shipping, but  shipping by bus would likely be OK from most areas. He thinks the carb would be a "BV" Rochester single . Does this sound right?

The original motor in that car would be a 194 6 cyl.  That's not to say he couldn't use the 230 or 250 parts on it, I don't know.
I have an original 62 Acadian Beaumont with it's original 194 6 cyl complete motor in it.  I know these are single barrel carbs but I would need to pull it off to find the factory code.
This motor has not run in years but has been stored inside.  If he has any interest, please email me at   Halletts1@chartermi.net

thanks, Norm

I am located in Aldergrove BC -- I have a couple of sets of these manifolds and a few carbs (carbs will be sold as cores needing rebuild) --- will you be coming over to the mainland for the coastal swap meet ? if so I am about 10 minutes away from Tradex -- Menno

I have uncracked intake & exhaust manifolds from a 1968 250 that are the same cosmetically & functionally as the 194 parts. I also have a Rochester Monojet that I would say needs rebuilding, but that is not the correct carb for the 63 (the Monojet replaced the Rochester BV for 1968).  If you are stuck we could discuss.

FYI a bit of history on the Rochester B, BC & BV carbs. The Rochester BV was made from 1963 through 1967; the "V" denotes a vacuum choke pull-off. The predecessor was the Rochester BC, produced for 1954 through 1962 models; the "C" denotes a coil type choke. The basic Rochester B carb dates all the way back to the 1931 Chevrolets! It was a manual choke version and it remained in production on the trucks through 1967.
