No way!

I just wanted it super clean top and bottom.

I did my 67 Camaro SS the same way and drive it all the time.

Wow - that is incredible! It'd sure be nice to work under a car that looks like that underneath.

How do you strip all the tar and and other gunk out of the creases and joints? I suspect you must wire brush most of it off, then sandblast the rest? Do spend time to do things like radius edges of sheet metal so the paint gets a better bite? What about primer? Any special prep work to make the underside paint more durable?

Tonnes of work regardless, but it pays off beautifully!

Looking good there Russ. Nice to see it coming along. If you are at the shop Monday I might stop in as I am going through Vancouver.

Hey Jerel, I should be around Monday, but the car is not there, its at the body shop. If you're coming through in a month or 2, the car will be back at the shop. Or if you want to just say hi, that's cool. Russ

Well Russ, I am coming into Vancouver tomorrow afternoon. May see how much time I have and if you don't mind I will stop by again. Should put in a plug here too for a little advertising even though I don't know if you need it. Every time I am there it looks like every bay is full and busy. For you Langley and area guys Russ has a great auto care business called Hudson Auto Care located at 19703 60 Ave. in Langley. Looks like he could take care of pretty well anything automotive related there even the diesels. Check them out.

Hey Jerel, thanks for the plug. I will be in and out tomorrow setting up for the Canada Day celebration in Langley. We have a booth there for our local Grip Tire Stores. I'll PM my cell number, call me and I'll see where I'm at.

Wow, can't believe how long it's been since I've had the itch to work on the car. Well glad its back, have spent a fair bit of time over the past couple of weeks, got the dash all back to together now. Chipping away at all kinds of parts, sandblasting, painting, etc. Waiting for a new engine wiring harness, hope to have it running in a month or so?? Anyway here are a couple of new pics.
