61 flat.jpegthese are cool car. Hard to find.
1961 Chevrolet Bel Air
(flat top roof)
6cyl. 3-on-the -tree manual trans. manual brake and steer.
Complete, unmolested, New Mexico car
Run, drive, stop without any issues
Radio and clock delete
Clear Ont. title, never been licensed in Ont.
Driver quality 20- footer paint years ago, very little rust repair
Driver quality interior
I don't have the mileage, car is in storage as of now
Superb car for easy restoration
I have 10k into the car without the cost of transporting the car to Ont.
Also some NOS parts to be sold separately

Dad had a similar Strato Chief, where is it now?

It looks similar to the first car I had a spin in, dad's '61 Biscayne when I came home as a newborn. It was the same colour as that Bel Air. Shown below is a 1965 b&w picture of that car. It was traded in December '65 on a new '66 Biscayne.

Looks like a beauty!.
Personally I love any of the '61 Post cars and feel the Chevy's are the 2'nd best looking girls at the dance next only to their '61 Strato Batwing cousins!.
