On my 54 pathfinder i have a couple of runner lines that run from the oil canister to the block.Mine are kinda frayed but not sure if they leak.Does anybody know if thet are availible anywhere.Or can someone take a pic of that side of the motor so i know how they are run.
This oil filter is an accessoiries, if you don't want to put back is service don't bother with it, the filter is in the pan. This filter is not a full flow, so don't really usefull.
But in other way, it's a good aftermarket parts to show...
Your rebuildind is very interesting.

Thanks for the pics, they helped.i would really like to keep using it but we'll see if they actually leak or not.My line that runs to the fuel line is also kind of frayed at one end but i think i found a napa # for it.Lots of little stuff to figure out so if anyone has pics of the sides of the motor they would be a help.Just trying to figure out how all the fuel lines and carb links run.Of course i'm missing one sparkplug wire so going to have to get a new set.I know the green paint isn't quite right, its actually not that dark in person, but it'll do for now.i still have to get the rad checked and probably new motor mounts as the p.s side is torn as well. But getting closer.
thanks for the pics they are helping.I guess what i need most is pics of how thw lines and linkages hook up.I took a few pics of what pieces i have left over.Unfortunetly the manual is definitly lacking in this area.I think the spare rod may be for the gas pedal? Not sure on the springs other than the 2 for the hood springs(guess i need to buck up and buy the install tool for those).also a couple open ports on the carb still. Also on the generator the posts are marked a and f,and theres a thick and a thin wire that go to it,but which one to where?Oh and of course the holy grails of motor mounts, this one is the passenger side and of course its torn as well.
On the generator the bigger wire goes to the A smaller to the F. I'll take some pics of my carb tomorrow and post them. I plan on heading out to lundar on the weekend i will check for the motor mounts. Do they have to be from a powerglide or can they be from a standard?
I would think the mounts would be the same for both as they mount on the engine not the trans, but not totally sure.I may have found the p.s side one, just sent a guy the measurements and he is going to check for me.He has them listed for a late 40's chevy but from the pic the look identical to the one i have.
