1977 Pontiac Grand Prix CONVERTIBLE (professional conversion) 1 of 1

needs a bit of work
have extra top frame as it could VISUALLY use another bow (not needed structurally)

-         400 ci automatic

-         buckets, console, power locks, windows

-         COOL 8 track player am/fm

-         VERY solid and clean

-         Was a NY car, I have a photocopy of the title, so easy to bring back to the US

-         NEVER driven in Ontario winters (not even driven here yet!!)

-         Needs top cloth repairs

-         Starting issue but runs great otherwise (I think the HEI is giving out)

-         Converted in year 2 of its existence apparently (according to previous owner)

-         Doors do NOT sag when open!

-         Professional conversion included ¼ windows so you dont get that hug C-pillar effect that many conversions have

-         POWER top >> professional conversion with reinforcement to the full frame (this is a body on frame car).  Unlatch like any other convertible, hit the switch and the top and there rear ¼ windows power down behind the seat

-         Needs interior work (driver seat cushion is shot).. included in this auction are the seats (red) from 76 Grand Prix t-top 50th anniversary (yes I know they came in tan, someone replaced the seats!)

-         Needs floors patched (proper pans included in this auction) at the rear floor ONLY

-         Spare parts IF wanted are trunk lid, 2 doors, interior, taillights bumpers and front header form a 76 (lighter waterfall effect)

-         Also have the top frame from a 1970 Delta 88 as the GP could use another bow in the frame (good and tight when up, no issues, just looks like it needs another bow)

-         Clear title

-          Mileage approx. 93792 MILES (converts to about 150100km)

Have you sold this car?

Do you know much more about how it came to be?

I have one identical to it.

Would love to find out more info on the car.

Wayne

This could be a contender for a Smokey & the Bandit "re-make".

Sheriff Bufford T. Justice had a convert didn't he?
