Here is the info on the car:

1967 Camaro Sport Coupe (base model)
1 owner before me, all documentation including original bill of sale, payment stubs, etc.
It has pretty low milage. I will have to look and see, but IIRC its something like 60-70K original miles. This car hasn't seen winter since 1971.

Body is pretty good. The original owner started restoring it about a decade ago, and basically put new quarters on the car to get rid of the giant flares he installed in about 1972. There is a
patch on the passenger floor that is just screwed on because there is very minor rust at the floor drain. A new floor pan came with the car. The rest of the floors are very nice, as are the frame rails, etc. Could use door pins as they are worn. The car is currently sitting in 10 year old primer. I could use a new trunk lid (was badly drilled for the spoiler on it) and a passenger fender (battery acid has eaten a small hole from the inside). Car is not twisted at all.

Interior is Blue camaro standard buckets. It needs a carpet, package tray, the two front seat covers, and a dash pad to be perfect. This was a radio delete car and has an ancient radio installed that cut the rear package tray for speakers. The original radio delete plate is still with the car (in the glovebox). Everything works and there is an extra drivers seat that goes with the car and some other interior bits the previous owner collected.


Mechanically the car is excellent. The original 230ci six was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago according to the previous owner. It has a ported head with big valves, hard seats, a small cam, headers, larger carb, forged pistons, and a decent dual exhaust. It runs great and is pretty peppy.

The trans is a Super T10, iron cased with the deep first gear - it was just gone through by the local trans shop and given a clean bill of health. The flywheel was just machined, and there is a new 10.5" clutch and pressure plate, throwout bearing, and u-joints. There is a hurst shifter controlling the gears. The original 3 speed goes with the car.

The rear is a the stock 8.2", 3.08 geared 10 bolt, with 396 multileag springs on long shackles that have been there since the 70's.

The brakes are manual drum and have all just been done - master, lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, hardware kits, drums turned, etc. Car stops good. The front end has also recently been gone through and is tight.

Rims are chrome aftermarket rallyes in 15x7 and 15x8 with 215/65R15 tires on the fron and 255/60R15's on the back. Tires are all new - I haven't even put the front tires on the rims yet, but that will be happening this weekend.

I would trade it for a nice driver 57' Pontiac 2 dr. or I am asking 11K for it but to tell you the truth, I am not sure what it is worth. I got offered 9K for it just sitting on the trailer when I was taking it home.

Eric by your description 10k sounds high, its something im looking for but i'll need lots of pics!
