Good chance it was originally a 3-Tree new...detail pics of the column including underhood shots would help clarify?.

I looked at this car a few years back at the Barrie flea market-I near bought it for a ride home (it was cheaper then) I recall I was waiting to be paid for the 69 Pontiac rag then I would buy this-When I went over to make the deal nobody was around-I returned several times and the last time it said "Sold"--really cool car-if I recall correctly the body structure was quite good, I liked the wheels and four speed set up-it had a mild 327 at the time

Hey that would have been a cool ride home!  Do you remember if it was a converted 3 on the tree car?

 I can't remeber-but thats likely the case

I recall $5500 then 4500 then 4000 then 35000 then 3200 then 2800 ! I sold the 69 rag at 7400 so this was sounding like a nice ride home-I paid $300 for a cab !

That car looks suspiciously like one I drove along beside up the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto back in 1992. It was a light turquoise 64 Laurentian 4-door with matching interior and a white roof. It was a 230 six and yet it seemed to have no problem whatsoever keeping up with traffic. It looked to be in excellent shape with no issues. I seem to recall it had skinny whitewalls, body-coloured wheels and small standard hubcaps. It wouldnt surprise me at all that this could be the same car, fast forward 18 years.
