This pristine 1962 Pontiac Acadian 4-Door Station Wagon, was bought in 1981 from a widow, who had it parked in a barn for 17 years with only 36,000 miles on it. Extensive time and money has been invested in restoring this rare gem, which now sports a new engine with .040" over L82 350, plus 10.5 KB pistons, World Sportsman 202 heads, a Crane Saturday Night Special cam, and TH350 trans with 2500 stall and shift kit.

Body and roof color is a metallic Nassau Blue. Odometer reading: 70,670 miles (approx. 44,400 km). Located in NE Edmonton.

A Classic Car appraisal and a recent edition of Old Cars Price Guide both agree, that this antique has the potential to reach a current Canadian value in excess of $28,000. Given its rarity, it will continue to increase in value over time, especially if housed in climate controlled storage and trailered to car shows.  Taking offers - please contact Debi at (780) 662-0043.

Now THAT is cool!!!

They tell me we (mom and dad) had one of those from 62-66 but I don't really remember it. I just remember it was traded on a 66 Chevelle wagon that I clearly remember.

What is with the 4 lug wheels? With that engine the suspension would be very weak? Caution guys, this could be an accident waiting to happen.

Since when 70 670 miles equals 44 000 km???

Maybe he meant the other way around...

Are they saying they want 28,000 for this car????!!!!!!!

I think they will be hard pressed to scrape about 8000 out of it

I saw that too and all I could think is that someone mentioned to the owner that they saw a car like that on Barrett Jackson go for some obscene price.  Or maybe it was an appraiser friend....
In any case, I think the market won't touch this car for over $15,000 and more like $10,000.

hmmmmm

my reply to this car gave me a Chevy II interior code (754) and a American build date code 2D
would be no date code on a 62 in Canada

but they did give me a Acadian style code 8435?

I believe those are Canadian Tire wheel discs. nice design but not a wheel imo.

PS: Yup I was able to magnify that photo 400 % and you can see the steel wheels in behind the spokes so those are wheel covers.
