67 Camaro convertible coming for salvage auction in Manitoba

this car was fully restored by autoresurrection a year ago. driver ok, was wearing seat belt. he pulled onto south perimeter hwy and was cut off. hit the breaks and locked the front tires, slide down the ditch into a pole.
i am really surprised to see it up for auction, as they asked autoresurrection to repaint it once the had it rebuilt. good pictures on Autoresurrection web site.

Cash is King...if insurer came up with a good number why not take it. That car is sure a mess, I can't imagine what you are doing to screw up a car like that, regardless of the story posted above.

That would have been a good car for my son to buy. He has replaced more than that on his 67 any way. Wonder what it will go for.

It just shows us how careful we all need to be with irrreplacable cars. that one is messed up pretty good, too bad it was a nice car. lots of good parts for someone in need. I kike driving mine however I met a guy with a real original Yenko who is scared to drive it at all.

I'm scared to drive my everyday Cadillac. I'd be so much more upset if it got hit than my old car. We all got to get over this emotional attachment to hunks of steel and rubber....it's not healthy.

that car came to my work to see if it could be fixed every panel is bent the owners brother is a bodyman at my work the car is toast the passenger side is the good side after he hit the pole it roled 2or3 times and landed on the roof running

I wouldn't want a car too nice or rare to drive. That's the reason I sold my 59 Dodge. There was only one other D500 Royal known and it was in Finland. It will be in a museum. Although I would be extremely upset if something hapened to my cars I am at least well insured.

Sold for 11,000. It was pretty beat up only things not damaged was the seats.

The guy lifted his bidder number up and never put it down till they said sold. There was only 2 bidders and I was sitting be side the guy who lost out. he said his wife would very happy.
