It's a mechum trans am. It was the only shop to ever build a Pontiac that won the scca series, they did it in 83. It was a factory approved speed shop like yenko, Berger, Nicky, etc.... If the nitros kit was installed, the warranty would have been void. Interesting car though.

I think so to, I met the guy that raced mine, and i have all the G.M doc package as well as the casc tag is still on the firewall as well. He even gave me the racing jacket too.
