Winnipeg today, biggest show of the year.

FRED (68SD) I HAVE HOMEWORK  FOR YOU!!! I'm sure some of these are reruns but I tend to forget which ones I have posted before.

Nice day today for our biggest show. Some sights and sounds from today. Well, sights I guess.......

I will put in some commentary later tonight.

I couldn't help myself. I had to take a shot of this one!

This is the one on Kijji right now for $4,000. PM me if you would like info on it...

Our very own member 57Poncho

One of my favourite cars at the show. Almost 30 years ago the Pontiac dealer took in trade 75,000 mile original paint car, a twin to this oneIt could be this car, I'm not sure.

The tall guy in the striped shirt reaching onto the dash is our son. He and I handed out about 25 Canadian Poncho business cards. Hopefull we'll get some new recruits out of it!

If this tag isn't already in the registry it's my neighbours 67 Beaumont SD396 4 speed that I've posted pics of before.

I couldn't help myself! This car is a twin (other than exterior colour) to my wife's daily driver Fleetwood!

This was really cool. A Hudson Hornet bought about 125 miles from here in North Dakota. I loved the metal dealer tag on the front fender.

This is an undercarriage shot of our member's car, Beaumontwagon. It's his 69 Trans Am race car. Anybody see anything wrong with this picture?

How could anybody not fall in love with this beauty??? I just adore this car...

Just when we were preparing to leave, what pulls in my weakness, a 66 GP 2 door hardtop!  283 glide. I spoke with the owner. He bought it around 2001 for $2500.  Buckets, console, tinted glass,  very clean, very nice car.

This is an amazing car. I just caught it leaving. I have heard lots about it. Original 68 SS427 4 speed. Approx 16,000 original miles if I am right, original paint as well.

Looks lie it was great show. I just could not make it today. Were there any issues with the Winnipeg Police Car inspections???

Just a quick note: That Butternut Yellow 68 Impala SS427 is a real beauty . All real with #'s and only original 16,000 miles.

I never saw a police car or officer all day Howard. Gotta like that. Of course a couple of guys drove like idiots when they pulled out, too. Why do they have to do that.....?

I  will correct the mileage on my note about that car.

Is that a trans cooler line zap strapped to the frame?

Hey Carl it looks like Beaumontwagons trans am race car is missing its nuts of his oil pan stus. Those are long studs have not seen that set up before. Am I right?

It looks like somebody was trying to get out of the oil pan.

Good job on the pictures there Carl, looks like GM was well represented. I don't mind the other guys too.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.

laughing.gif Yes, he was and it looks like he was trying to hammer his way out.

(Picture was posted with prior approval from the car owner!  Chris is a really good natured guy but I didn't want to post a picture of an expensive blown up engine without his consent!)

Oh, belive me, I wanted to! However it became apparent very quickly in our conversation that this car is not for sale! I really like the colour combo too. It's black bucket/console interior. I never looked under but it appeared to be a nice straight solid car.

Only about 276 body numbers apart in 6 weeks too. That seems a bit low.
