Winnipegger

I got a 63 Lemans, i've done everything on this car except for paint, i did the bodywork, made the floors,  roll cage, rear quarters, suspension, motor, diff, even lightly tinted the windows, mini tubbed, done so many things i forget, its been off and on for 5 years now, didn't want to build this car till i had the money and its close to done now, going to put it in world of wheels so it'll force me to finish it, usually work on it in the winter cause i'm too busy with my 2 and 4 years old boys, and going with my buddy to race at gimli with his car, these cars are not a joy to build, i also belong on py forums, just found this one and have been reading alot. so here it is.  My favorite saying with it taking so long is a work of art takes time.

Theres one of those for sale near me!!! Think it might be a 62, 2 dr. coupe 4 cyl [1/2 of a 389] Georgia car. It's his wifes car but she was in a car accident 1 1/2yrs ago & is still unable to walk any distance, wheelchair or scooter at the shows!!! He told me it's for sale knowing I'm a Pontiac guy, but I can't remember the asking price. It's a real straight car, nice interior, BONE STOCK!!!

Wicked! I assume you did not keep the 4-banger, flexi-driveshaft and rear transaxle?

thanks for the compliments, goin for the old afx look, its actually a fairly dark silver, if i said it had a 326 would you beleive me, but yes to multiple carbs and i am putting the 326 emblems back on.. I put in a ladder bar suspension, w/panhard bar, the diff is a 9 in, from a 66 bronco, converting the front to discs, i just got all the brake parts this week so i'll be starting it tomorrow, very comlpicating to convert, nevermind the money. the car will be street driven, even modified the back seat so it fits between the cage and i can get the kids seats in the back. after brakes i'll drop in the drivetrain and then carpet, headliner and doorskins, i don't sew so someone else is doing the seats. i race with Chris Mondor and the wild bunch, we were talking of going but the kids and nieces want to go fishing. I also drive a 76 red bronco convertible that some of you might know, both baby seats are in it. And once in a while i rip around in a 67 red chevelle my dad owns. if any pontiac nuts ever want to see it, i live in the north side off mcphillips, it looks better in person.

i may have to go with the swiss cheese theme, but remember the canadian full size weigh in at 3750 to start. (wide track at 4100)

Ahnu(l)d, why not just register again with the proper spelling? Because you are relatively new here not much would be lost by doing that.

I had noticed that your name was spelled different over at Performance Years forums...
