i asked him lol here is the email um i might try the 100 buck deal

 

I had an offer from dealer last fall for $2800. Wish I had taken it.

Since then the car sat outside for winter, there is some slight rust on wheel rims but other wise body, trim is very good

When I last started it up (2months ago) the water pump started rattling.

It has new battery, transmission is excellent and new tires. Also stereo.

I'm asking $1500 firm or $100 but you have to watch me smash it for one minute.

Really.

I feel his pain, kijiji seems to bring out the loserest of losers. I found with the last car I advertised the key is phone calls only, emails will get no response, and no trades ('cause I don't need a dirt bike, snowmobile, fishing boat, '82 Jetta etc etc). That weeded out MOST of the losers, except the guy who emailed asking about a trade....

I have sold a lot of things on kijiji, even a car inside 12 hours of posting. I find that usually when someone responds to my ad they want to buy, very few timewasters for me anyway. I will have to say that I price things to sell them though. I suppose everyone has different experieinces. I like it.

Oh I can relate to this poor fella that corvette guy made me crazy! I did cut the son of a b*tchn car into a pile of scrap! I had enough I bet he wasted 6hrs of my time over a $500 car.

Hmmm... to bring things back to reality $1500 seems like smokin' deal for this car unless the frame and floors are totally rotted...

Even so, you gotta think there is at least 500-600 in value in the front clip alone. All the trim etc looks pretty nice on the car. And then bits and pieces elsewhere on the car as well as drivetrain have to get it close to 1000.
