Here's a shot or two of the Sprint Car I used to work on back when Westwind Oval in Winterburn Alberta was happening.
It was the Paul Mason/W.W.Arcade car for years. A school teacher bought and ran it a few summers. I was on the pit crew and spent many a weekend attending the big races at Westwind known as the "CAMRA" series.
Canadian American Modified Racing Association gathered the likes of Tom and Jerry Sneva from Spokane, Eldon Rasmussion from Edmonton, and we saw the likes of the late Paul Newman once.
This car was a homemade "asphault car" with a 327, Enderly injection and actually had a clutch. Rare for a Sprint Car.
