58 Pontiac 2 door wagon (not mine)

I was dumping off a pickup with my brother yesterday and ran across this great and unusual project for somebody.  I  have never seen of of these before and i would venture to guess there weren't too many of these babies made.

The guy runs a project  car buy and sell operation so it is for sale via his website.
I took some shots of it but my camera is still in my bro's truck so i will have to add those later.

It seems pretty complete and straight although I did notice the drivers florr is of course gone.  However the roof has never been jumped on.

Its just a really cool machine.

He has other pontiacs and stuff so it may be worth checking him out via his website  I noticed a quite nice runable 66 beaumont 4 door 283 car...

I will put a link right to the 58 but his main website is perrysprojectcars.com

http://www.perrysprojectcars.com/pro.php?pro_page=3

Hope this gets somebody excited!

I believe that the guy that owns that is Ivan Perry. He has a couple of real cool old canadian poncho's.

Thats the man!   He is one good scrounger and a pretty nice guy to deal with as far as my experience goes. (He gave me about 300 8 tracks when we stopped by for nothing, not that i actually had any use for them
.
I don't know how firm the price is but I think he's had it for a while. Finding parts would be a challenge, although its seems pretty complete as far as the unique station wagon stuff is concerneed.

I can picture it with lowered with a big old 409 or Mark !V stuffed in it  with a couple of scared kids in the back seat and a wife in the front seat telling to you to SLOW DOWN FOR GODS SAKE!

heh heh heh

He has lots of neat stuff, but it just too far away for me to get anything.

Shipping last I checked was in the $1500-2000 range to get to the toronto area and that is a deal killer for me.

Maybe I should buy it for ya, stow it at my place and the next time we make a trip to Guelph to visit my ancient, fearsome mother in law we'll tow/trailer/dolly it down.  My wife seemed to like the trip to Gimli doing that lat year.

What do ya think?

(lol) Ken!! Gimli is a skip, hop and a jump compared to lots of places in Ontario, especially Guelph!!! (As you know) Maybe you should run it by her first!!

Or maybe you have a changed woman on your hands now... She may be the one wanting to go on these trips or finding these cars for you??? (lol)

Yeah I know I get carried away sometimes with trying to make sure these old machines get a good home. (like yours) Its just a question of hitting her up on the right day.  The stars may not come together on this for a while so if Racer Rick is in no paricular hurry I have room in my yard to stick it for a while.
