Do yall remember my next door neighbor yelling at me for 10 min of compresser nose they started a whole new thing the by law officer stoped by today and said my car thats covered is an eyesore hmmmm i wonder who said that well there gonna force me to move my car where i don't know but im going to keep it after i get the frame and engine back she is gonna come back Just saying i was nice i never used any power tools before 12 on weekends and after 4 every night  so im gonna make it loud gonna GO TO THE BY LAW LIMIT  power tools till 11pm and from 7 am  I'm just soo angry any idea what i should do?

Follow the by-law to the letter! Even if not working on the car, beat on some old garbage cans with a mallet until 11 every night. When your neighbour finally has had enough, tell him it wasn't to bad before he called bylaw. Then work out something YOU can live with.

Your neighbour is not a very smart man because as you state, he has it pretty easy by the sound of what can legally come at him as far as noise goes.

Got the metal for my frame going to try for next friday to get it done put it back onput the engione back in then hook up the engine with no tail pipes ima gonna have a fun time there

I remember the project I had in my parents driveway when I was 15. I started making all sorts of noise within the legal times after the neighbor complained about the "eyesore"! He got so sick of it that he actually talked to my dad and offered his help! I think he thought that the sooner it was done the better!
Just make sure not to rush anything Jonathan...the important thing is to get it right! Great job so far!!

When my neighbour refused to tone down his late night parties, he learned that my lawnmower was real annoying at 8:00 am the morning after. His noise level was then reduced.

I have the same issue with mine as well..... I said the same thing, "I will go at it from 7 in the morning till 11 at night and then when he comes into the office to complain, ask him if it was ok before he complained"?

 Maybe a glimmer of light will finally shine in that empty melon of his and your neighbor too........ Have at 'er man!!!!!!!!!!

ive been pricing some things and im saving up for a moster size portable garage right in front of there window lol and i phoned the by laws they said as long as its on my property its fine and permits required and no by laws against it

Great idea, buy one of those Crappy Tire temporary "garages" (they go on sale) to cover-up the "eyesore"! Just make you secure it VERY well (I've heard some horror stories). It will keep the weather off you and your car, and send a "screw you" to the neighbour!

by law guy came by and said as long as its under a cover its not an eyesore i win lol my dad told him i bought the car when i was 15 and there has been progress on it. So i have all legal right to have it here also if my neighbor comes over to me again i can press herassment charges on him with a 30day jail time can you believe that omg he comes cursing  at me again  ima see him in 30 days

start a petition and give it to your counselor, you'll get 1978 signatures from this site saying they have never heard any loud noises from your property and that your car is not an eyesore. lol

Jonathan !! no You are 6 foot 5   just fold your arms and smile!     get a nice portable (I have one  No you can't buy it  lol)    just because your neighbor is a jerk, does not require likewise action...    He had a right to inquire, and you explained, and it will be ok ...   love your enemies  it pees them off...

I too went to the other neighbors, got them to sign a drawn up paragraph by myself saying it was ok by them for what I was doing, that they themselves had no issues and took it to a council meeting! The council agreed and suggested further action.....

 I too could charge them for harrasment but I just do suttle things just to pi$$ them off... Actually, she is more the pit bull than him both visually and the way she acts!!

 But I was told the same thing today by another "mature" fellow just what C1 said to you and that is to be "nice" to them... It will make them even angrier while you and I have smiles on our faces..........

The apostle Paul also said, "do not take revenge my friends, but leave room for God's wrath.'

I'm thinking that burning coals and God's wrath will do the job much better than your trying to "get back at him"!!

As Carl said - be nice, it ticks them off!

If nothing else you will gain more respect by being nice instead of lowering yourself to acting like them.
