Next Friday, 10 of us from work and two buddies are flying down to New Orleans for a long weekend.
Half the guys will be going to the Sunday evening NFL game , I declined...$265 for a crappy seat is way beyond my interest level.
Should be a total zoo since its Halloween!

Any advice, must see's, best music bars, stories, etc?

Go to "Cafe' Du Monde" in the french quarter, you will never forget it! Fresh made Bingnet's [deep fried doughnuts coated with icing sugar] and the best coffee ever! Yee Ha!

The french Quater for sure, hurricane drinks, take a riverboat curise in the afternoon, drink lots of dixie beer, have a great time


I was there for a training course and conference a few years ago, fantastic 2 weeks

Don't waste time  and money on booze and sugar food disbelief GO TO THE LOCAL CAR JUNK YARD and get some good parts,  and take photos and send parts to the border...
