Sure a nice looking car. Not so sure about the wheels on this car. They look nice on GTO's and they actually look great on first generation Acadians.

Seeing how the trunk was restored (speckle paint), made me wonder if any Canadian built cars ever came from the factory like this?
From what I have seen the Beaumonts, Acadians, Canadian Chevelles, Canadian Novas, all came with body color in the trunk until at least 1967. After 67 I don't know.....never owned any later models.

Very nice, love white on red. This car (with different wheels) was for sale by a US dealer about 2 years ago.

Sorry , make that this dealer. Looks like he either never sold it, or bought it back; but it did disappear from his for sale inventory for a while.

Maybe he repo'd it? I see it on Hemmings as well for $22,995. Located in Milton, Wisconsin.

..our trunk is body colour...and what's a "Catalina Parisienne"? Is that just a typical American mistake seeing as they don't know much about Cdn. Pontiacs? And FYI, when we ordered the new windshield for our car Speedy had to order the "Grand Prix" part # as they said that was pretty much the identical car (other than the underpinnings) for that year Pontiac. Is that correct..?

Canadian built chevys and pontiacs has spattered trunks in 1961, 62, and 63.
Totally correct for those years.

1964 was the start of the "body color" trunks on canadian ONLY cars

On a side note:

MID year of 1963 was when the USA started painting firewalls black.

Canadian cars stayed with body color firewalls until 68 or 69.

It's like a Chevelle Beaumont or a Nova Acadian ... it puts the car out to a larger audience (Americans) by making a comparison to their car models.

65,66,67,68 GTO/Lemans as well as 67,68 Firebird had them.

The 65 centre cap is physically the same but the ornament trim (paint) is different.

I'd have to check in my parts book to be sure, but i think you should be going to the 64 Chev w/sheild to get a good fit, i'll look it up in the morning.
