New guy from Ontario

I am new to the site, live in Kitchener, ON.  Have been put in the somewhat un-envieable position of helping my sister-in-law sort out her husbands car stuff.  there are 2 Pontiacs in the garage, a '61 bubble top Parisienne and a "62 Catalina both big block 4 spd cars, as well as a bunch of parts including 2 348 blocks needing rebuilds and I believe a bunch of body panels, hoods and such.  I am going to buy one of the cars from her just not quite sure which one yet, the rest of the parts I will be listing here for anyone whose interested in purchasing them.  Pontiac's are new to me so I will likely be looking for lots of advice from the more knowledgable members.

Welcome cruiser.

There happens to be a member here who could use a 348 for his 61 bubbletop.......

He is claiming to be broke but everyone on here is pushing him to buy a 348 and it's just a matter of time before peer pressure wins!

Never going to happen Carl wink(348) but I can use a lot of other stuff for the 61 if you want to sell.

Hi cruiser, welcome, I feel your pain, I am in a similar spot helping the father of one of our members who died. Everyone thinks this is a fun job dealing with parts and cars but it is a enormously time consuming and thankless thing you are doing so I will say Thank You.

I vote for the Canadian Poncho if you are buying one, Bubble top 348 Parisienne = Cool. Of course a 62 Catalina is awesome too. If you get the Parisienne you get the added benefit of being able to hang around us. biggrin

Welcome Doug!!! Good luck in your endeaver.
If the bubble-top is a car in good shape, I would go for it (rarity factor).
There is only one thing wrong ... your last name is FORD disbeliefwink

I'd be interested in a 348 , couldn't find one , used a 327 and love it. If it's a long winter , that will give me a project. Greg

Welcome to the site  biggrin I hope WE can help you  biggrin The market seems to be slow or perhaps lazy, but now is the time for buying/selling project cars and parts
