In 1962 my dad bought a used '61 Laurentian 4-door six-banger. In '64 he bought a new Parisienne Custom Sport 327-250 horse. My grandma bought a new '64 Laurentian 4-door 230 CID. My uncle in PA had a '62 Catalina 2-door hardtop 389. I Guess poncho is in my DNA. I've owned a '70 Firebird 350, '71 Grand Ville 455 convertible and '75 Astre hatchback.

Like you, it was all GM at our house too. Only one Acadian though, I think it was Chevy otherwise.

Welcome, you are among family as they say. My first ride in my life was in a 55 Bel Air, after that we were a loyal Pontiac family. Here's what I recall, 59 Laurentian,  61 Strato Chief, 62 Acadian, 65 Laurentian, 65 Custom Sport, 70 Tempest, 73 LeMans Sport  X 2, 76 Grand LeMans, 76 Firebird,  80 Grand Prix, 89 Grand Prix, 92 Bonneville, 96 Sunfire, 99 GMC....then I switched to Cadillac. biggrin

Welcome to the site. It's addictive but informative.
My Grandfather sold Pontiacs @ Enerson Motors in Lethbridge Alberta for decades. He would take me down to the dealership on Sunday mornings and while he got caught up with paper work, I'd sit in the factory fresh GTO's, Firebirds, and Beaumonts.
His demonstrators were usually Grand Parisiennes, Wildcats, and the odd 2 plus 2.
I used to grab a hand full of sales brochures on the way out, starting in 1967. I collected various GM ones till about 1980. I still have em all.
Enjoy the site, and learn lots, there's lots to learn.

Ray I have to confess the '65 Custom Sport is my all-time favourite. I love it in Irish Mist. What gorgeous lines! Some day I will have one, after I get all the kids off to school!
