I was cleaning out Mum's shed and found a bit of a trove of old stock left over from Dad's days of maintaining his old '66 Malibu and '70 Nova. The old bumber jack, the bumper from the nova, shocks and springs, a single old hub cap. None of it in very good shape anymore. But the jewel ... an unopened can of Esso Dextron II tranny fluid. I'm not gonna even think about breaking the seal on this ... it's a definite shelf queen. It belongs in a museum, or as a decoration in someone's vintage garage.
Pics will follow of the lot. It's not for sale persay, but I could be convinced to let some of it relocate to a home where it'll be more loved.
Cool! Nice to see this stuff appreciated and kept! Nice find.

It was a bit heart breaking. Dad's gone 8 years now. One of the earliest photos of me has me astride the straight 6 in one of those cars. All that's left is a few rusty parts.
That's not all that's left. It sounds like you have some great memories! Memories, and how those memories develop you...that's what's important. To our Dads!...
