63/64 283 powerglide linkage


Needing pics of the shift linkage setup on a 63 or 64 X-frame fulsize car with a 283 and ALUMINIUM glide.

Mainly the braket on the frame, the linkage across to the trans, etc.

That one looks to me more like the CAST iron glide, but maybe it is similar or the same.
Anyone else got any pics?

No it is different.    I have 5-6 chevelle ones, but no fullsize.  Thats always the way!

Order from summit, they have the kits for around 14 bucks, I just ordred one for my 61, they are the same, saves a lot of aggravation, and they are for powerglides.

Someone local must have one of these lying around,  they are everywhere!.....................until you need one.

It is such a common part, everyone throws them out i guess.
