I think you'd be hard pressed to find one nicer!

From the ad:

Back in those days, the idea of buying a fun summer car was out of reach of most.  Those who could afford it went for Corvettes and Thunderbirds, not Pontiacs.  Only 2223 Parisienne convertibles were built for the 1961 model year and they did not do well on salt-covered Canadian roads.  They completely disappeared from the landscape in the late sixties.  There are likely less than 20 of these convertibles left, and only a handful of those are worth having.  This one is likely the best example.

The split grille design was back for model year 1961 after a one year hiatus, a theme that would endure on Pontiacs until the last one rolled off the line in 2010. This car was purchased as a fun summer car by a gentleman in Sherbrooke, Quebec.  I purchased it in 1995 from a collector who was friends with the original owner.  It was only ever used for cruising on sunny days, and kept covered in a heated garage the rest of the time.  Having been out of the elements, this garage queen still sports its original convertible roof.  Period-correct wide whitewall tires are from the 1970s, and still in excellent shape.  Having only been caught in the rain twice in its fifty years, the underbody is pristine.  The parking brake works like it did on day one.  The roof mechanism, brakes and steering are power-assisted.  The tri-tone red vinyl interior is immaculate, including the dash pad.  The electro-mechanical clock is still working and is a conversation piece at car shows.  The AM radio still sits in its original spot.  There is slight fading of the original carpeting, and the expected cracks on the steering wheel.  The car had a full repaint (but no body work) in 1991 in the original ermine white.

This is as good as it gets for an unrestored car; there are no modifications of any kind.

Agree. Skirts don't look good on the 61-64 cars; look great on the 65-70 though in my opinion.
