14 Parisiennes for sale now

Inspired by the recent efforts of crazyj, I just checked the 4 main car sale sites in Aus and found 14 Parisiennes for sale (1963-68), plus a few Laurentians. We don't have snow in the major population centres, so rust is only a minor problem. If you need good body parts, we could probably afford to let a few CPs go home.

Hi Rod,
Is there any way you could get pictures of them (also the data tags).
I'd like to see the '64s.
Thanks, Darryl.

Hi Darryl,

There's one 63, five 65s, one 66, two 67s and five 68s, but no 64s. Sorry. None of the ads have tag pictures and they aren't near me, so I can't take my own. Anyway, they would have GM-Holden tags, which wouldn't tell you much. So far as I'm aware, in this era Aussie cars didn't have a VIN - only chassis and engine numbers.

Here are some pictures though. Enjoy.

I'd love to help you Carl, but it'd be unique. Never seen one here. If you're serious there are sites you can put it on. Quite a few US cars are for sale on Australian sites.

Elroy, this might suit you. Its on for $3500 or near offer ($AU = $US at the moment).

Seems neat to me that even the Canadian cars for export had American style wiper transmissions that wiped the windshields (windscreens) from the center of the glass out.... WHY?

Hey BIGHOLDEN, send us a couple of links for those sites, I may want to give them a try. Thanks.

Thanks Rod, those cars make me feel right at home.

Except the steering wheels are on the wrong side!

Are Left Hand Drive cars allowed on Austrailian roads?

Yes. Rules may vary from state to state, but in NSW you can register if the car is at least 30 years old and passes an engineer's inspection. You may need to modify the headlight dipping, install RHS exterior mirrors and such.
