Sure sounds good from the ad. The reality is quite a bit less. I guess thats typical. i figure about 90% of the time you're disppointed by what you eventually see.
Unfortunately for me and my wallet i tend to see these basket cases with the eyes of what could be, not what actually is.
I totally agree...I see a car like this and think....what a shame...the guy won't come to his senses and sell it for a reasonable price ( book value for a complete, intact, non running, 1966 Grande, Big Block, parts car is $1250.00)...SO the car will sit there and ROT..cuz its already been there for at least 10 years and he's done nothing with it and after talking to him..... it will be there for another 10 years...Just think What it could be.........
