found 2 new ones ..... looking to see if there is any value to them?

i would also like to know if it's possible they were made that way
are these engine options available in those years


1: is a 1969 Grand Parisienne, 4 door, vinyl top black, black interior, it's a 427 335 HP with 400 auto transmission

2: is a 1970 Parisienne 2+2 convertible it's a 454

let me know what you think, i don't know 1969 and 1970 Pontiac's

1970 Parisienne 2+2 454 convertible is a rare one. And a 4 speed to boot. I posted pictures of one from an Alberta junkyard, and someone on here posted how many were made.

The last appraisal I saw on a 1970 Pontiac 454 was done in September 2009. It was a top condition restored Laurentian and It was set at $12,000 appraised for insurance value in Toronto.

At Auction near Parry Sound ON in the fall of 2010 an original condition 427 Survivor Grand Parisienne 2 dr. Hardtop sold for just under $4,000.

There was also a survivor 427 69 2+2 that sold out of Cahtsworth ON in the fall 2010 for $4,000. Engine was not in the car but was provided with sale.

All cars above were auto trans cars.

The story as I understand it is that there were only 4 1970 454 convertibles, I don't believe that a manual transmission was available from the factory. Pretty sure our friend seventy2plus2 will be able to confirm.

According to the GM documentation regarding my 69 Parisienne 2 dr ht with 427/335 engine, 400 full size 69 Pontiacs in all body styles were built with this engine.

As to value, my car is appraised at much more than any of the numbers quoted here. But whether that value could be gotten in the marketplace today is entirely another question.

Yes, the 427 was available in all full size 69 Pontiacs. I am unsure of a 454 stick combo in '70 though. We need more details (and photos!)

I found a wib site called the... CAAAR GUIDE... It seems to be a very good resourse for Car prices..try it. They put the 2+2 at $3600.00 for a driver. And the 69 gp 4 door 427 car @ $1850.00 for a driver

  I knew a 4-gear wasn't available for the 454 but I didn't realize it wasn't offered at all!!!!

Clint, was it you that bought the 454 out of the 2+2 in Redwater? why not buy rhe whole car? ( I know it was rough...)
I think there was a 454 2+2 convert from Quebec at the Atlantic Nationals last year.

yup, I've got the motor from the Redwater car.  Didn't want the whole car, it was too rough to think about.  It was a real early casting / stamping.

i will try to go see both cars once i come back to Canada
i will take pictures and all info i can on them
i know that both cars are in great shape
but not sure what tranny is in the 70 2+2 convertible but i am 100% that it is a real 454 convertible

i wanted to make sure that a 454 was possible in a 1970 Pontiac

i know what the asking price for the 1969 427 is, but i am worried that it's a 4 door
