I don't know what that stuff is but I like it. I'm going to start calling my car a Lemans 3 Star Coupe wink

The puddle of antifreeze behind the waterpump is very appealing as well!

Good eye StriperSS, typical american pontiac engine intake to water pump housing leakage, he must not have known he had to tightened the long bolt in front of the aftermarket aluminium intake first.

Compared to New Brunswick, on PEI we have 5 star coupes.

Enlarging the photo with the hood up reveals that the dual NASA type scoops are not on this hood.

That is why it lost two stars.

NACA hood = 5 stars!

Glad we figured that one out!

Still working on the Luminise rear end.

My guess is Limited Slip on that one.

My favorite is the 1973 Pontiac Grand Am 455, bigger point on the nose and more durable tougher endura material, steel grilles and I like the back bumper/tail light better, less smog stuff on the engine, more HP and torque, better rearend ratio availability...

No Can Ams were ever sold new in Canada. The number most often quoted is 1,377 produced.

I prefer the '74 and '75 Grand Am's as I like the rear deck design better and the front nose to me is a little more subtle. I had a Can Am in the early '90's now it's owned by a buddy in Calgary. I'm much happier with the over all package of the Grand Am over the Can Am.
