 Maybe he needed the hammer to get the Olds engine to fit the Beaumont.!! LOL

No thats an Olds engine. Can't say for sure it's a 455 as Olds had engines in that family from 260 to 455 that were very similar.

Pontiac did have a 455 as did Buick. The three 455's were totally different and not even similar to Chevys line of engines.

Obviously the engine in the Beaumont is a transplant.
