63 Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe, FS, Partial Trade, Free Delivery

I have listed my Acadian For Sale on the Internet again and I wanted to post it here so that there wouldn't be any confusion.  I have had this car for about 6 years and don't see any challenges in owning it another year.  I'm not much for car show awards since I have a basement full of them.

I love planning and executing new projects, then the first year of displaying the car at various events.  I have completed the planning process for my next project and aquired all the necessary parts for completion.  This summer is time for me to start the process and that takes money.

The 63 SD is a great car set up for pro touring.  The motor is really more of a race motor but runs great on the streets.  The  motor is very attention getting with it's great cam rubble, which I believe is a 292 grind, manifold vacumn has been measured at 6 inches.  I spoke to the engine builder and he said much time was spent on port matching the heads and intake.  It has an MSD system and what Holley says is a racing carb, 750 CFM four square, dual feed carb.  Weiland intake manifolld and extra capacity oil pan, 7 qt.  The 700R4 trans has been rebuilt with a 3500 stall converter.  This car is very low end responsive and runs great right up until 50 mph when it drops into OD and you can cruise the highway at 75 mph on pump gas, 2500 rpms and about 16 mpg.

I won't make this any longer detailing the upgrades and features of the Acadian other than to say it does have four wheel disc brakes many suspension mods.

Many of you have expressed a desire to have these cars in Canada to support the heritage and history of Canadian built auto's.  This is my offer to you, what ever price you see my car advertised at, I'm willing to give someone in Canada, $3,000-$5,000 off the advertised price plus I will deliver the car in my enclosed trailer up to 1000 miles at no charge.  Anything over 1,000 miles will be about $1.50 per mile.   Anyone that is interested in knowing how this discount would apply for you, please email me  Halletts1@chartermi.net

FYI - My car is currently advertised at $32,500 on Racing Junk.com

That means, my offer to you guys is $27,500 US which at the current exchange rate would be about 26,500 CDN with free delivery up to 1000 miles.  My math comes up with a total savings of at least 7,000 dollars for a Canadian Pontiac resto-mod that could be driven across Canada tomorrow.  Total production is 2029 2dr hardtops of which maybe 10-15% were equipped with the Z03 (Sport Deluxe) option.  Can you say 1 of 200-300?

I would greatly appreciate any referals you could make spreading the word to potential buyers.

This car came from Montreal 5-6 years ago.  I don't know where to view the registry but I know I offered the information necessary to post it shortly after bringing it to the states.  I do have the docs from GM of Canada.  It is a former monthly feature car but may have additional upgrades since then.

I just realized someone lost a great opportunity.  Several weeks ago I traveled to Ontario and purchased a Canadian Chevy and paid for it per the terms agreed upon in U.S. currency.  I felt sorry for the sellers as they didn't get the price they had hoped for, I think due to people not being on their computers during nice beautiful sunny weather.  I checked the exchange rate out of curiosity and found it to be the worst ever for us in the states.  I think it was about 1.03+++.  This resulted in the sellers losing several hundreds of dollars if they converted the cash immediately.

On the trip home I thought to myself, this would be a great time for a Canadian to buy the 63 due to the very favorable exchange rate.  Well, after reading this old post this morning, I checked the exchange and apparently our dollar has rebounded as it is only 1.01+++.  That looks like an opportunity lost by anyone on the Canadian side that might have been thinking of buying anything on the U.S. side.

Thanks for bumping my post the car is still available for sale or trade.  Please let me know if I need to submit the info necessary to add the 63 to the registry.
