This is a 1975 Pontiac grand Lemans 4 door with a 350 big block, The body has been completely redone and repainted professionally. The transmission was rebuilt only 2 years ago and shifts great, This car is currently insured and will most likely safety with no work, It has been stored every winter since its restoration. This car is definitely a driver and would make a great car. $3000.00 OBO. Call or email.

Looks pretty decent if this is the sort of car that turns your crank. I would be interested in seeing the VIN to see if it is US built, seeing that 350 Pontiac engine under the hood. The tell tale signs I can see that this is a US car is in the the jack appears to be painted grey and an Oshawa car's would be black and the Speedo is in MPH primary scale with kph minor and a Canadian Car would be the other way around I believe.

You're probably right, good chance it could be a US car, which means that I posted it in the wrong forum. confuse

I was under the impression that by '75 they had started putting US Pontiac engines in Canadian-sold Pontiacs.  Dunno about Canadian-built ones though.

I also thought that the switch to a full metric speedometer didn't happen until '77.

The jack colour?  I'll take your word for it... biggrin

Wonder if that's the originial spare?  If not it's close to it...

Yeah, it is a 4-door, but I thought you of all people would be able to appreciate a reasonably clean mid-disco era Lemans.... wink

Not being critical, just observations.  It would be very uncommon but not impossible to find a Pontiac 350 in a Candian built and sold LeMans in 1975. A Pontiac 400 was available however the use of the Chevrolet 350 was predominate. In big B bodies a 400 small block was also used in some applications as well as the Pontiac 400. It would be great to see that car's VIN to satisfy curiosity.  On Jacks Canadian cars got black just like a Chevelle.

Any chance it could be a 400?  I would have no idea how to tell them apart externally.

I wasn't worried about you being critical (heck, it's not my car anyways), just giving you a little dig about the "if this is the sort of car that turns your crank" comment... it's all in fun! biggrin

The jack colour is an interesting tidbit of knowledge that I never even would have thought of.  Goes to show who has the real CP knowledge around here! smile

On the metric speedo I'm going by memory.  I remember my '76 Nova being registered in miles whereas my '77 was in KM.  I also remember my buddy's parents' '76 Volare being in miles because they put those little stickers all over the speedometer to indicate km/h... remember those?

A Pontiac 350 and 400 would look the same. Car is described as Big Block 350.

Who wants to email the seller and ask for the 5th and 7th digits in the VIN, engine and plant then we will all know.

It has the exact same wheel covers that were my '75 Laurentian wagon.
Sort of a low option car for a Grande LeMans. No power locks/windows.
Don't see any evidence of air either.
