3 Scary converter bolts on my 1973 Grand Am

Tonight, I just finished getting my Pontiac 455 (down to the shortblock) ready to pull out of my 1973 Pontiac Grand Am parts car. It was half fast rebuilt years ago, put together with all sorts of hardware (not torqued) and here is what I found holding the converter to the flexplate : 3 loose Canadian Tire bolt or something like that, hacked off made to fit because some bad mechanic missplaced the correct ones ! Good thing this engine was never fired I wonder what I'll find when it will be taken further apart on my engine stand ??? Some poeple !

How much would it have been for some proper ARP bolts? Geez, you dodged a bullet by not firing the engine!

So far I found alot of mistakes on this rebuilt Pontiac 455 I took out of my 1973 Grand Am parts car, such as the 3 converter bolts, mixed and matched engine attaching hardware, one missing engine mount, missing dipstick, tube and other tube/bracket on #3 main cap, wrong oil pan drain plug that leaked half the oil out of the engine, 2 coolant little plugs missing on each side of the bottom of the block, the original oil galleries plugs were not removed for cleaning the oil passages, no distributor retaining brackets, oil pump driveshaft falled aside...OMG, Thank God I never fired it ! Some poeple ! The new bearings on the crank are clevite 77
