'65 convertible. 271 Parchment & Black trim. 02 Black top. Dose this seem to be a bit odd that the trim is different to top? Would the door cards be Black to match top & seats Parchment or the whole lot Parchment & carpets Black? P Evening Orchid paint. It mite end up being a rainbow like it is now.(not quite, the dash wil never be gold.)
Dash & carpet (including on the lower door panels) plus console are black, all the rest is parchment. The convertible top boot should also be parchment. No, it is not unusual for a black top to be used with the parchment interior. Just remember that the top boot is matched to the interior colour, not the top colour.
Evening Orchid, now that is an unusual colour. Only used in 1965 it looks nice with the parchment interior and looks great on a car with good chrome and bodywork.

Thanks for the quick reply.Being 1 of 48 RHD to be imported to Oz and a rare colour, I think I,ll restore it as much as practical.It is still a matching number car from George Zapora report, it,s just had a few colours and different trim.It does not originaly have console,2 speed on tree.Looking for split front bench, will message Tin Man soon.Report also say 8.25-14 tire,would that be 7" rims?
Its our experience that GM cars with white or parchment interiors had black carpets & dash pads. Mopars usually the same. Ford seem to be sometimes a bit different. If a car was ordered as a fleet vehicle some wierd combos appeared.
